About

The mark came first

Lautus Creations started as a stamp. It goes on finished woodwork and gets etched into the copper on boards that leave the bench. The site came later, and exists to document what the mark is already on.

The work runs across electronics and PCB design, CNC and CAM, 3D printing, and woodworking. The common thread is that most of it is built once, properly, for a specific job, which is exactly the kind of project that nobody writes up.

What gets published here

Build logs with the parts that usually get edited out: the measurement that contradicted the assumption, the revision that fixed the wrong problem, the component substitution that quietly changed the thermals. Posts assume a reader who can read a schematic and does not need PWM explained.

Reuse

Project repositories carry their own licences, listed on each project page and in the repository itself. Hardware, firmware and documentation are generally licensed separately. Check the repository before you fabricate.

Contact

There is no contact form and no mailing list. For anything about a specific project, open an issue on that project's repository under theLautus Creations organisation. That keeps the question and the answer attached to the thing being asked about.
